Job Summary


We are looking for an experienced Admission Counsellor who will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about courses, and converting inquiries into successful enrollments. The candidate should have strong communication skills, counseling ability, and experience in handling student queries and admissions.


*Key Responsibilities*


1. Student Counselling


Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, programs, and career opportunities.


Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.


Provide detailed information about admission procedures, eligibility, and fees.


*2. Lead Management*


Handle inquiries from various sources such as phone calls, walk-ins, emails, and online leads.


Follow up with prospective students to convert inquiries into admissions.


Maintain proper records of student inquiries and follow-ups in the CRM or database.


*3. Admission Process Management*


Assist students throughout the admission process including form filling and documentation.


Verify and collect required documents from students.


Ensure the admission process is completed accurately and on time.


*4. Target Achievement*


Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.


Work closely with the marketing and academic teams to improve enrollment numbers.


*5. Relationship Management*


Build strong relationships with students and parents.


Provide support and guidance until the admission process is completed.


*6. Reporting*


Maintain daily reports of calls, follow-ups, and admissions.


Provide regular updates on admission status and pipeline to management.


*Required Skills*


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Strong convincing and counselling abilities


Ability to handle multiple inquiries and follow-ups


Good organizational and documentation skills


*Preferred Experience*


Experience in educational institutes, training centers, or EdTech companies


Proven track record of achieving admission targets
