Job Description

JD: Business Development (BD): Franchise Business

Position: Manager/Assistant Manager - Business Development (Franchise)

Department: FOFO

Reporting To: Business Head - Franchise Business

Location: Vikroli, Mumbai

Experience: 8-14 years in Residential real estate sales &/or franchise business development

CTC band: 8L to 16L

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and identify prospective franchisees.
  • Conduct meetings with potential franchisees, present business opportunities, and drive conversions.
  • Collaborate with the property team and franchisees to identify suitable properties for store locations.
  • Work closely with the legal team to finalize and execute Tri-party property agreement and Unit Franchise agreement along with collection of signing fees. 
  • Act as a bridge between franchisees and the projects team for store design, fit outs, BOQ discussion & Payments by franchisee to respective vendor.
  • Monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks to ensure on-time store openings.
  • Provide handholding to franchisees till 90 days post-launch.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record in franchise business development (with investment ticket size > 50L) &/or residential real estate sales.
  • Strong negotiation, deal closure, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently (individual contributor role) while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in lead generation & sales funnel management

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of franchisees on boarded per month 
  • Number of agreement executed per month.
  • Number of store launched per month 
  • Store Life cycle achievement for first 3 months
