Role Summary: As a Caregiver you will support older adults, especially persons living with dementia, in their daily life.

Your role is to help them stay safe, comfortable, engaged, and emotionally supported in their own home.

This role requires patience, empathy, and responsibility more than physical strength.

• Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily activities such as:
• Bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
• Feeding and hydration support
• Safe mobility and fall prevention
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Communicate calmly and respectfully, especially with persons who may be confused or forgetful
• Help manage daily routines (meals, rest, simple activities)
• Support engagement through music, conversation, light activities, or walks
• Observe and report changes in behaviour, mood, appetite, sleep, or mobility
• Maintain simple daily care notes as guided by Banyan Care Club
• Follow care plans and guidance from supervisors and clinicians
