CCTV Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CCTV Technician with practical field experience in surveillance systems. The candidate should have basic computer knowledge and be comfortable handling software and system installations related to CCTV operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems
• Perform troubleshooting and basic repairs of CCTV hardware
• Configure DVRs/NVRs and ensure proper recording and playback
• Handle basic computer installation tasks
• Install and configure required software for CCTV systems
• Conduct routine system checks and maintenance
• Ensure proper cable management and system performance
• Provide basic technical support and guidance to clients when required
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 1 year experience in CCTV installation and servicing
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware installation
• Ability to install and configure software and operating systems
• Understanding of networking basics (LAN, IP addressing is a plus)
• Familiarity with DVR/NVR configuration
• Ability to work independently and on-site
• Good problem-solving skills
• Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)Knowledge of IP cameras and networking
• Experience with different CCTV brands
• Basic customer handling skills
