Pastry & Savory Chef – Café Kitchen
Location: Mumbai

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Pastry & Savory Chef to lead a café kitchen in Mumbai. This role requires someone who enjoys working in a dynamic café environment and can manage both desserts and savory menu itemswhile maintaining high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and comfortable managing kitchen operations while contributing to menu development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute pastry, desserts, and savory café dishes
- Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Assist in developing and testing new menu items
- Manage daily kitchen operations and prep schedules
- Maintain inventory, stock control, and ingredient ordering
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are followed
- Work closely with the team to ensure efficient service during operating hours
- Maintain proper storage, portion control, and wastage management
Requirements
- Experience working in café, bakery, or restaurant kitchens
- Ability to handle both pastry and savory preparations
- Strong kitchen organization and time management skills
- Passion for quality ingredients and presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and experiment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with desserts, cakes, pastries, and plated desserts
- Experience preparing café-style savory dishes (sandwiches, pastas, breakfast items, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of inventory and kitchen management
