Job Description:

• Responsible for preparing and cooking dishes in the hot section as per menu and standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all hot dishes.
• Supervise and train commis and kitchen assistants during service.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, workstation cleanliness, and safety protocols.
• Monitor stock, control wastage, and assist in daily requisitions.
• Coordinate with Sous Chef and service team for smooth operations.
• Ensure proper mise-en-place before each service period.
• Follow HACCP and food safety guidelines at all times.
• Support in menu planning and development of new dishes.
• Handle kitchen equipment responsibly and ensure regular maintenance checks.
• Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
• Adhere to company policies, schedules, and performance expectations.
