Manager Credit Control – Roles and Responsibilities

1.Oversees all debts owed to the company from existing customers and manages new credits;
2. Responding to relevant client enquiries and resolving problems in relation to invoice payments;
3. Processing and ensuring reconciliation of accounts of clients;
4. Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems;
5. Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors.
6. Following up payments on daily basis and meeting clients for recovery of overdue payments and ensure collections;
7.Checking and ensure posting of receipts to accounting systems;
8. Addressing GSTR 1 reconciliation with GSTR 2A / 2B of Clients;
9. Knowledge on TDS and Sales reconciliation with 26AS;
10. MIS reports as required by Management.

Other Skills required (Mandatory)

1. Proficient in MS Office especially strong skills in Excel (viz. Pivot, Vlookup, Index etc…)
2. Working knowledge of ERP / IT System (including Tally ERP9 software)
3. Self-motivation, Strong communication & interpersonal skills, Team working ability
4. Excellent problem-solving, Analytical & Follow-up skills
5. Ability to control large amounts of data
6. High attention to detail and accuracy
7. Ability to direct and supervise
