Job Title: Field Collection Officer

Job Summary

The Field Collection Officer is responsible for visiting customers at their homes or workplaces to recover outstanding payments. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to collect payments while maintaining good customer relationships and following company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers in assigned areas to collect overdue payments
• Explain outstanding balances and payment options to customers
• Negotiate repayment plans when necessary
• Collect cash, cheques, or confirm digital payments as per company policy
• Issue receipts and ensure proper documentation
• Update collection status and customer information daily
• Report difficult or disputed cases to supervisors
• Follow company guidelines and legal regulations during field visits
• Meet daily or monthly collection targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Previous experience in field collections or sales (an advantage)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Honest, responsible, and well-organized
• Basic knowledge of mobile apps or reporting systems
