Job Description
Key Responsibilities – Commis
- Assist in preparation of food items as per recipes and standards
- Perform basic cutting, chopping, and mise-en-place preparation
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation as per company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Follow food safety, storage, and temperature control guidelines
- Support senior chefs during service hours
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials
- Minimize wastage and follow portion control standards
- Assist in receiving and checking kitchen stock
- Follow grooming, hygiene, and safety SOPs strictly
- Support in opening and closing kitchen duties
