Position: Site Supervisor

Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Engineer

Location: Kandivali East, Mumbai

Job SummaryThe Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring that works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, workers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise daily construction and installation activities at site.
• Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Identify and resolve site-related issues in coordination with the Project Manager.

2. Coordination

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth workflow.
• Ensure availability of required materials, tools, and manpower.
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and other agencies at site.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure all works meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and report deviations.
• Ensure proper finishing and workmanship standards are maintained.

4. Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company safety policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers use PPE.
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily site progress reports.
• Track manpower deployment and productivity.
• Record material receipts, usage, and wastage.
• Assist in preparation of measurements and billing.

6. Material & Resource Management

• Monitor material consumption and prevent wastage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
• Verify delivered materials against approved specifications.

• Ability to manage labour and subcontractors
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, reports)
• QualificationDiploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (as applicable)
• Experience3–8 years of relevant site supervision experience
• Experience in PEB, interior, modular, or building projects preferred
