Job Description

  • Food Preparation: Cook dishes accurately from standard recipes, manage ingredients, and sometimes modify recipes for customer requests (allergies, preferences).
  • Order Management: Prepare and dispatch orders quickly and accurately, often integrating with online platforms like Zomato and Swiggy.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintain strict kitchen cleanliness, follow food safety (HACCP, FSSAI) and storage (FIFO/FEFO) guidelines.
  • Inventory & Waste: Monitor ingredient freshness, manage stock, and minimize food wastage.
  • Workflow Optimization: Work efficiently in a high-volume, quick-turnaround setup, ensuring meals are fresh for delivery.
  • Menu & Innovation: May involve developing new recipes, standardizing dishes, and staying updated on food trends, especially for niche concepts (healthy, vegan, specific cuisines)
  • Experience: Proven cooking experience, ideally in cloud kitchens, QSRs, or busy restaurants.
  • Cuisine Knowledge: Expertise in specific cuisines (Italian,Mexican,etc.) is often required.
  • Food Safety: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent time management, teamwork, and adaptability for fast-paced shifts.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with handling online delivery apps is a plus.
