Job Description
- Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook dishes as per standard recipes and taste guidelines
- Handle bulk food preparation for corporate orders, parties, and events
- Specialize in regional cuisine (Bengali / North Indian / South Indian – as applicable)
- Ensure food quality, taste consistency, and presentation
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
- Assist in menu planning and new dish development
- Manage raw material usage to minimize wastage
- Coordinate with helpers, assistants, and service staff
- Follow daily production schedules and deadlines
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Experience in catering, restaurant, hotel, or cloud kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of traditional Indian spices, gravies, and cooking techniques
- Ability to cook veg & non-veg dishes (as per business requirement)
- Experience in handling large quantity cooking is a plus
- Basic understanding of food costing and portion control
- Physically fit and able to work long hours during events
