Job Title: Front Salesman

Job Summary:

A Front Salesman at a café is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, promoting menu items, handling billing, and ensuring a pleasant customer experience. They act as the first point of contact and help drive sales through excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders accurately (food & beverages)
• Suggest and promote café items, combos, and special offers
• Handle billing, payments (cash, UPI, card), and issue receipts
• Maintain cleanliness of the front counter and seating area
• Coordinate with kitchen/barista for timely order preparation
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints politely
• Ensure proper display of products (pastries, snacks, etc.)
• Follow hygiene and safety standards

Skills Required:

Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic knowledge of café menu items
• Sales and upselling skills
• Basic computer/POS system knowledge
• Friendly, presentable, and customer-focused attitude

Working Conditions:

• Evening shift (4pm to 2pm)
• Standing for long hours may be required
