Store Assistant Job Profile

A Store Assistant supports the smooth functioning of the store/warehouse by handling stock, records, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock Handling: Assist in receiving, unloading, and checking incoming materials arrange and store items properly for easy access. Ensure proper labelling and identification of stock

2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records (manual or in system). Assist in stock counting and physical verification. Monitor stock levels and report shortages

3. Issuing & Dispatch: Issue materials as per requisitions or orders. Help in packing and dispatching goods. Update records for all outgoing materials

4. Documentation: Maintain bin cards, stock registers, and invoices. Enter data in Excel/ERP systems

Keep proper records of receipts and dispatches

5. Coordination: Support Store Keeper or Supervisor in daily operations. Coordinate with purchase, production, and logistics teams

Required Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Excel / ERP systems. Good record-keeping skills

Ability to handle physical work. Teamwork and communication skills

Qualification: 12th pass / Graduate

Experience: 0–2 years (fresher’s can also apply)
