Job Title: Digital Forensics Analyst

Summary JDWe are seeking a skilled Digital Forensics Analyst to conduct cyber investigations, analyze electronic evidence, and support legal proceedings. The role involves forensic acquisition, evidence preservation, cyber incident investigation, and certification of digital evidence under Section 65B of the Indian Evidence Act and Section 63(4)(c) of

BSA to ensure court admissibility.

Roles &

Responsibilities1.     Perform forensic acquisition, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence from systems, mobiles, networks, and cloud platforms.

2.     Investigate cyber incidents such as data breaches, malware, unauthorized access, and insider threats.

3.     Maintain integrity and chain of custody of digital evidence.

4.     Prepare detailed forensic investigation reports and findings.

5.     Issue and sign Section 65B(4)(c) certificates for electronic evidence admissibility.

6.     Support legal teams and law enforcement with technical explanations and documentation.

7.     Collaborate with incident response teams to prevent future incidents.

8.     Stay updated on forensic tools, cyber laws, and best practices.

Must-Have Skills1.     Hands-on experience in Digital Forensics & Incident Response.

2.     Strong knowledge of Indian cyber laws and evidence standards.

3.     Expertise with forensic tools (EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Autopsy, Cellebrite).

4.     Understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS, and file systems.

5.     Experience in digital evidence certification (Section

65B).

6.     Strong documentation and report-writing skills.

7.     Attention to detail and analytical mindset.

8.     Ability to present findings clearly to legal and non-technical teams.

Good-to-Have Skills1.     Certifications: CHFI, GCFA, CCE, or similar.

2.     Exposure to mobile and cloud forensics.

3.     Scripting skills (Python / PowerShell).

4.     

Experience supporting legal proceedings or court testimony.
