The Akshaya Patra Foundation is one of the world’s largest not-for-profit organizations implementing the government’s Mid-Day Meal Programme. With operations spanning across 16+ states and over 78 kitchens, we serve over 2.25 million meals & 1 million morning snacks every day to school children. We have an ambitious target of 6 Million Meals served per day by 2030. Our mission is to eliminate classroom hunger and promote education through a scalable, sustainable, and efficient food delivery model.

Job Description :-

Fundraising & Donor Acquisition

  • Identify, approach, and secure new SME and mid-sized corporate donors to achieve CSR fundraising targets.
  • Develop and execute direct marketing campaigns and donor engagement strategies.
  • Conduct cold-calling, networking, and outreach to build a strong pipeline of potential donors.
  • Prepare customized fundraising proposals, donor pitches, and corporate presentations to secure contributions.
  • Ensure donor retention, upselling, and renewal of existing partnerships through proactive engagement.

Donor Relationship Management & Engagement

  • Build and manage long-term relationships with corporate donors, ensuring continuous engagement.
  • Develop and implement employee giving programs, cause-related marketing campaigns, and workplace fundraising initiatives.
  • Organize corporate volunteering programs, donor engagement events, and school visits for CSR stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver impact reports to donors, ensuring transparency and alignment with their CSR objectives.

Strategic Planning, Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain and analyze donor contribution data, campaign effectiveness, and fundraising performance metrics.
  • Ensure all fundraising activities comply with CSR laws and ethical fundraising best practices.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, CSR forums, and industry conferences to strengthen donor partnerships.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Any Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in direct marketing, B2B sales, or fundraising.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in CSR fundraising, corporate donor engagement, or nonprofit fundraising.
  • Proven track record in cold-calling, proposal writing, corporate negotiations, and donor management.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to achieve fundraising targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
