About the RoleAs an Education Counsellor / Admission Counsellor (Fresher), you will guide potential students by helping them understand our digital marketing programs and career opportunities. This role is ideal for candidates interested in inside sales, academic counselling, student counselling, admission advisory, customer calling roles, lead conversion roles, telesales, telecalling, voice process, EdTech sales, business development, and entry-level communication-driven careers.

You will handle inquiries, make outbound calls, convert leads into enrollments, and support students throughout their admission journey.

  • What You’ll DoStudent Counseling, Academic Guidance & Course AdvisoryCounsel and guide prospective students about IIDE’s digital marketing courses.
  • Explain curriculum, batch schedules, certifications, fees, and placement assistance.
  • Support students and parents with accurate academic advice and counselling.
  • Act as a Student Advisor, Course Advisor, Academic Counsellor, and first-point contact for all queries.
  • Inside Sales, Telecalling & Lead ConversionMake 60–80 connected outbound calls daily to warm and active leads.
  • Manage inbound inquiries and convert them into registrations.
  • Conduct telecalling/telesales-style conversations to drive admissions.
  • Handle lead nurturing, follow-ups, lead qualification, and CRM updates.
  • Book demos, schedule counselling sessions, and ensure high follow-up discipline.
  • Telesales, Customer Relations & Voice Process ActivitiesBuild relationships with students through professional telephonic communication.
  • Maintain high call quality, active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented conversations.
  • Handle student queries with clarity—similar to customer support (voice process) standards.
  • Target Achievement, Reporting & CRM ManagementConsistently achieve weekly and monthly admission, lead conversion, revenue, and call-time targets.
  • Track conversion metrics using CRM dashboards.
  • Manage reports related to daily productivity, inquiry status, and follow-up performance.
  • Additional ResponsibilitiesParticipate in counselling events, webinars, seminars, student orientations, and workshops.
  • Support the team with basic operations like demo class coordination.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Sales Manager.
  • Who You AreMust-HaveFresh graduate OR up to 1 year experience in telecalling, telesales, inside sales, academic counselling, customer service (voice), admissions counselling, BDE roles, career counselling, course advisory, EdTech sales, front-line sales, lead generation, or any communication-based role.
  • Strong English communication skills (Hindi/Marathi added advantage).
  • Confident on phone with strong persuasion skills.
  • Target-driven, energetic, and willing to learn sales and counselling techniques.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use CRM tools (training provided).
  • Should HaveAbility to multitask, organise follow-ups, and manage high-volume calls.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with strong ownership and discipline.
  • Interest in building a long-term career in counselling, inside sales, EdTech, or student advisory.
  • Nice to HaveInternship or work exposure in telesales, customer support (voice), EdTech admissions, student counselling, BDE/business development, lead generation, or similar fields.
  • Interest or basic understanding of digital marketing and the EdTech landscape.

  • Requirements / KPIsOutbound Calls: 60–80 connected calls per day.
  • Talk Time: 2–3 hours active calling per day.
  • Lead Conversion: Meet weekly/monthly admission & revenue targets.

Location: Must be based in Mumbai (or ready to relocate from nearby areas of Nashik & Pune).
