Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and lightning

protection.

• Prepare and review electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams (SLD).

• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and statutory requirements.

• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and technical documentation.

• Selection of electrical equipment as per requirement, P&ID, and tender document, and scrutinized the

scope of work for electrical.

• Preparation of electrical documents.

• Electrical load list, MCC sizing, SLD, cable sizing, transformer sizing, cable schedule, earth sizing.

• Preparation, review, and submission of drawings.

• Earthing layout, MCC room layout, cable routing, GA diagram, etc. for client approval.

• Preparation of electrical BOQ and cost estimation of electrical system of entire plant.

• Preparation of electrical equipment datasheet: Transformer, HT panel, LT panel, motor, cable, tray, UPS,

PLC, etc.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD software and PLC software. Maintain as-built drawings and project

documentation.
