- Coordinate on prototyping and sampling, including iterations based on design feedback
- Monitor and follow up on development timelines, sample submissions, and production schedules
- Work with vendors to achieve cost optimization without compromising quality and performance
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements (especially for toys)
- Troubleshoot technical issues jointly with vendors during prototype and pilot production stages
- Conduct vendor performance evaluation based on quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost
- Collaborate with procurement to support negotiations, cost benchmarking, and sourcing strategies
- Ensure proper documentation and version control of specifications shared with vendors
- Support new vendor development for innovative technologies and components
- Coordinate for testing, validation, and certifications of electronic components/products
- Facilitate smooth handover from development to mass production with vendors
- Technical Collaboration

- Act as a bridge between design, procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Translate product concepts into clear technical requirements and actionable deliverables across teams
- Collaborate with industrial designers to balance aesthetics, functionality, and engineering feasibility
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth manufacturability and assembly line readiness
- Partner with quality teams to define testing protocols, acceptance criteria, and failure analysis processes
- Participate in cross-functional project reviews, highlighting risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
- Ensure alignment on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across all stakeholders
- Drive quick resolution of cross-functional issues and bottlenecks during development and production
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in design and development processes
- Coordinate for regulatory compliance and safety standards, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned
