Experience Range: 3-5 years

Salary: 32000– 40000 INR

Role objective

The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting end-to-end project execution, including preparing technical presentations, coordinating installation activities at site, and managing technical project commissioning. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage project tasks efficiently (under project work pressure) while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

1.Technical Presentation & Documentation

• Prepare detailed technical presentations, project briefs, and progress reports for internal and client meetings.

• Present project concepts, designs, and progress updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including BOQs, drawings, checklists, and commissioning reports.

2.Site Installation & Coordination

• Coordinate and supervise site installation activities as per approved drawings and specifications.

• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and resources at the site.

• Communicate with contractors, vendors, and clients for smooth on-site execution.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

3.Technical Project Commissioning

• Lead and support project commissioning activities, including system testing, validation, and performance checks.

• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning stages.

• Prepare commissioning schedules, test protocols, and final commissioning reports.

• Ensure the system is fully functional and handed over to the client with proper documentation.

4.Project Coordination

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project timelines.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as design, procurement, QA/QC, and service.

• Track project milestones and report deviations or risks promptly.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of project planning, site coordination, and commissioning processes.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and basic project management tools.

• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Basic knowledge of SCADA communications protocols will be an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Required qualifications & experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation or relevant field).

• 3-5 years of experience in project execution, site installation, or commissioning.

• Experience working in industrial projects, automation systems, instrumentation, or similar domains is an added advantage.
