Engineering Project Manager

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end engineering projects from concept to commissioning and handover. The role involves planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of industrial projects while ensuring quality, safety, budget control, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage complete engineering projects from design to commissioning.
• Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate engineering design, plant layout, equipment selection, and technical documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, Safety, Carbon/Compliance, etc.) for smooth project execution.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure quality, timelines, and technical standards.
• Supervise site construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental/statutory regulations.
• Monitor project costs, control budgets, and report status to management.
• Drive improvements in engineering processes and project execution systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Industrial or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in industrial plants, manufacturing, waste management, or clean-tech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, processes, and commissioning activities.
• Experience handling multiple stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
• Good understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.
