Export Manager /export Consultant

Job SummaryThe Export Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and managing the company’s export operations to international markets. This role ensures compliance with export regulations, develops overseas market opportunities, manages logistics and documentation, and builds strong relationships with international clients and partners.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement export strategies to expand international sales and market presence
• Identify and evaluate new overseas markets, distributors, and customers
• Manage export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, LC documents, and shipping instructions
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and internal departments
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with international clients
• Monitor export sales performance and prepare regular reports for management
• Handle customer inquiries, order processing, and after-sales support for export customers
• Manage export budgets, costs, and profitability
• Resolve shipment issues, delays, claims, and disputes efficiently
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Proven experience in export management or international trade
• Strong knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms, LC handling, and customs regulations
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Export documentation systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Preferred QualificationsMBA or professional certification in International Trade or Supply Chain Management
• Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, FMCG, textiles, pharmaceuticals, etc.)
• Fluency in one or more foreign languages
