Location: Mumbai (Field role)

Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of certified compostable and eco-friendly packaging products, including garbage bags, carry bags, and housekeeping disposables. The company supplies to quick-commerce platforms, modern trade, institutional buyers, and distributors across India and is now expanding aggressively in the Mumbai market.
Role ObjectiveThe Channel Development Manager – Mumbai will be responsible for establishing and scaling Arth Bioplast’s distribution network in Mumbai, driving product availability, distributor onboarding, and ensuring in-store execution across general trade, wholesalers, housekeeping channels, and modern trade coordination.
- Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Distributor Appointment & ManagementIdentify, onboard, and manage three key distributor types:
- FMCG / General Trade distributors
- Carry bag wholesalers
- Housekeeping / institutional distributors
- Finalize commercial terms, margins, credit limits, and territory allocation.
- Ensure distributor activation and secondary sales push.
- 2️⃣ Channel & Market DevelopmentBuild market coverage across:
- Kirana & general trade outlets
- Wholesale markets
- Society supply & housekeeping vendors
- Develop beat plans and expand numeric distribution.
- Drive product trials and repeat ordering.
- 3️⃣ Modern Trade Execution & CoordinationCoordinate with distributors for Reliance Smart / Smart Point and DMart.
- Ensure:
- SKU availability
- Shelf placement & visibility
- Correct pricing and labeling
- Act as the local execution arm for modern trade (no central negotiations).
- 4️⃣ Visibility & Shelf ExecutionEnsure proper shelf placement, stock rotation, and visibility.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits.
- Collect market feedback on pricing, competition, and demand.
- 5️⃣ Reporting & CoordinationShare weekly reports on:
- Distributor status
- Outlet coverage
- Sales & visibility
- Coordinate with Head Office on schemes, launches, and supply planning.
- Candidate Profile5–10 years of experience in FMCG / packaging / disposables / housekeeping supplies
- Strong Mumbai distributor and wholesaler network
- Hands-on field experience with distributors and modern trade execution
- Comfortable with extensive market travel
- Languages: Hindi & Marathi preferred
- Key Skills RequiredDistributor onboarding & channel building
