Job Description: We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented FTTX Technician/Engineer to assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic networks. The technician will work in the field to ensure that fiber installations are completed on time, to standard, and with minimal disruption to customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables.

• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of FTTX networks.

• Perform OTDR, power meter, and other fiber testing procedures.

• Read and interpret network design blueprints and schematics.

• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to resolve technical issues.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Follow health and safety guidelines and company protocols.

Requirements: • Diploma or technical certification in Telecommunications or related field.

• 1+ years of experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.

• Familiarity with splicing tools, OTDRs, and optical power meters.

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

• Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
