Job Description: Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Zenia Hospitality

Position Overview:

Zenia Hospitality is seeking a proactive and versatile Assistant General Manager (AGM) to serve as the Founder’s right hand across multiple projects, including Zenia Powai, Chill Vikhroli, Chill Bistro, and other ventures under the Zenia brand. This is a comprehensive leadership role requiring operational expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. The AGM will act as a second-in-command, ensuring that all projects run smoothly, creatively, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

Collaborate with the Founder to develop and execute the vision across all Zenia projects.

Align operations, marketing, and guest experience strategies with the brand's overall goals.

Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in hospitality, events, and bistro management.

2. Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations of Zenia Powai (serviced apartments), Chill Vikhroli (themed spaces and events), Chill Bistro, and other upcoming projects.

Ensure seamless coordination across teams, including housekeeping, F&B, event management, and administration.

Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency at all properties.

3. Guest Experience Excellence:

Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction across all projects by creating personalized and memorable experiences.

Address guest feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.

Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.

4. Team Leadership:

Lead, train, and inspire a diverse team across multiple locations.

Promote a positive and productive workplace culture aligned with Zenia’s values.

Conduct regular performance reviews and team-building activities.

5. Event and Project Management:

Manage themed events and promotions at Chill Vikhroli and Chill Bistro.

Assist in planning and executing new hospitality and design projects under Zenia.

Work closely with the design and operations teams to bring creative ideas to life.

6. Financial Accountability:

Prepare and monitor budgets for each project, ensuring profitability and cost control.

Analyze financial performance and recommend strategies to optimize revenue.

Oversee inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.

7. Marketing and Branding Support:

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Chill Bistro, themed stays, and events.

Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all Zenia projects.

Drive engagement through social media, partnerships, and innovative campaigns.

8. Compliance and Administration:

Ensure all properties comply with legal, safety, and operational standards.

Maintain proper licenses, certifications, and permits for all projects.

Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (business, arts, hospitality, or related fields preferred).

5+ years of management experience in hospitality, retail, events, or related industries.

Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
