Housekeeping Boy

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and public areas.
• Sanitization & Disinfection: Using proper chemicals to disinfect high-touch surfaces, bathrooms, and clinical equipment, following infection control standards.
• Waste Management: Collecting and disposing of general trash and regulated medical waste appropriately.
• Linen Services: Collecting soiled laundry and distributing clean linens.
• Supply Management: Restocking soap, paper towels, and other janitorial supplies in closets and restrooms.
• Terminal Cleaning: Performing thorough cleaning after patient discharge or transfer.
• Emergency Response: Promptly cleaning spills and responding to special cleaning requests.
• Reporting: Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or hazards to management. 

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and power equipment.
• Ability to follow strict infection control and safety protocols.
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Physical stamina to lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
