Key Responsibilities:

Supervisory Duties:

Supervise Cleaning Staff:

• Manage and lead a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance and support.
• Assign tasks and ensure timely completion of all cleaning duties.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Coordinate Cleaning Schedules:

• Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate special events or urgent cleaning needs.

Training and Development:

• Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff.

Inspect and Report:

• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Address any deficiencies and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to higher management.

Use and Maintain Cleaning Equipment:

• Operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and agents.
• Maintain and store equipment and supplies properly.

Follow Health and Safety Guidelines:

• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other cleaning staff and management.
• Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed.

Additional Duties:

• Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned by higher management.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces when necessary.
