Job Summary


The HR professional in the cosmetic industry is responsible for managing people-related futnctions while supporting a fast-paced, brand-driven, and compliance-heavy environment. This role ensures the company attracts, develops, and retains talent aligned with creativity, quality, regulatory standards, and company culture.


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Management


Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles in R&D, production, quality control, sales, marketing, and retail

Coordinate interviews, onboarding, and induction programs

Build employer branding aligned with beauty and lifestyle values

Workforce planning for seasonal launches and market expansions


2. Employee Relations & Engagement


Maintain positive employee relations and resolve workplace issues

Drive engagement initiatives, performance culture, and team morale

Support managers in performance reviews and disciplinary actions


3. Training & Development


Identify training needs (technical, regulatory, sales, leadership)

Coordinate product knowledge and compliance training

Support career development and succession planning


4. HR Policies & Compliance


Develop and implement HR policies aligned with labor laws and cosmetic industry standards

Ensure compliance with health, safety, GMP, and ethical standards

Maintain employee records and HR documentation


5. Payroll & Compensation


Coordinate payroll, benefits, incentives, and commission structures

Support compensation benchmarking within the beauty industry

Ensure timely and accurate salary processing


6. Performance Management


Implement performance appraisal systems

Track KPIs for sales teams, retail staff, and production employees

Support reward and recognition programs


7. Culture & Employer Branding


Promote company culture aligned with beauty, innovation, and inclusivity

Support CSR, wellness, and diversity initiatives

Act as a culture ambassador for the brand


Required Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

2–5+ years of HR experience (experience in cosmetics, FMCG, retail, or manufacturing preferred)

Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities


Coordinate daily sales activities for cosmetic products across assigned territories


Process and track sales orders, samples, and promotional materials

Liaise with distributors, retailers, salons, and key accounts to ensure timely order fulfillment

Coordinate with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to manage stock availability and deliveries

Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and product data in CRM/ERP systems

Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses

Support the sales team with product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns

Monitor sell-in and sell-out data, inventory levels, and market feedback

Handle customer inquiries related to products, pricing, promotions, and delivery status

Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, pricing policies, and regulatory requirements


Required Skills & Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

2+ years of experience in sales coordination or sales support, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and CRM/ERP systems

High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills


Knowledge of cosmetic products, beauty trends, and retail channels

Experience working with distributors, modern trade, or e-commerce platforms

Ability to analyze sales data and inventory reports

Working Conditions

Office-based role with coordination across field sales teams

May require occasional travel for product launches, trade events, or distributor meetings
