Job Description
- Logistics coordination: Organize and manage the import and export processes, coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines.
- Documentation and compliance: Prepare and manage all necessary documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, and ensure compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and other international trade laws.
- Stakeholder management: Liaise with suppliers, customers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
- Shipment monitoring: Track shipments from origin to destination and address any delays or problems that arise.
- Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Staying updated: Stay informed about changes in international trade laws, regulations, and tariffs.
