Job Description

  • Prepare and cook authentic Gujarati dishes such as rotli, thepla, dal, kadhi, shaak, farsan, sweets, and accompaniments for Gujarati thalis.
  • Plan daily menus and ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion control.
  • Manage mise-en-place and ensure timely preparation of food during service hours.
  • Ensure food is prepared as per standard recipes and traditional methods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen as per FSSAI and company standards.
  • Monitor food inventory, raw material quality, and minimize wastage.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and assist in training junior cooks if required.
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and adherence to food safety norms.
  • Handle bulk cooking for events, festivals, and special occasions.
