Job Description: Jewellery Designer

Location: Mumbai

Reports to: Founder of Charu Goel Fine Jewels LLP

Role Objective

To conceptualize and design high-quality, innovative jewellery pieces that align with brand aesthetics and market trends. This role bridges the gap between creative vision and technical manufacturing feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Conceptualization: Create original sketches and detailed technical drawings for collections (Fine Jewellery, Couture, or Daily Wear).
• Trend Analysis: Research global fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and seasonal forecasts to ensure designs remain competitive.
• Material Selection: Select appropriate gemstones, metals, and materials based on aesthetics, durability, and budget constraints.
• Prototyping: Collaborate with master craftsmen and goldsmiths to oversee the development of samples and refine prototypes.
• Portfolio Management: Maintain an organized digital and physical library of all designs and iterations.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Jewellery Design (GIA, NIFT, or equivalent).
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in the jewellery industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong hand-sketching and rendering skills. In-depth knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, and metallurgy.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, creative storytelling, and ability to meet strict production timelines.
