Data Analyst

About the Role:

As a data analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help the organization make informed business decisions. This role involves working with large datasets, identifying trends, generating reports, and creating visualizations to support different departments such as marketing, finance, operations, and management.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

2. Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and relationships.

3. Create and maintain dashboards, visual reports, and data models using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

4. Develop and automate regular business reports for management review.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven insights.

6. Interpret data and communicate findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.

7. Support decision-making through data analysis, forecasting, and performance measurement.

8. Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

1. Strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.).

2. Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.

3. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio and Python.

4. Understanding of data cleaning, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

5. Basic knowledge on or R for statistical or data analysis (preferred).

6. Familiarity with statistical techniques and data-driven problem-solving.
