Job Title: Manual Lathe Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities: Operate lathe, milling, and drilling machines to perform turning, facing, boring, threading, and grooving operations.

• Prepare workpieces by setting up cutting tools and adjusting machine settings.
• Ensure precise surface finishing and dimensional accuracy as per drawings.
• Measure and inspect components using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of machines.
• Identify and correct any dimensional or surface defects.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
• Report production and quality data to the supervisor.

Skills Required: Sound knowledge of lathe and milling operations.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering / mechanical drawings.
• Experience in boring, threading, and finishing operations.
• Proficiency in measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.).
• Understanding of machine speeds, feeds, and cutting tools.
• 1–5 years of experience in lathe/machine operation.

Salary & Benefits:

• 18,000 to 30,000 per month (based on experience)
