Manager – Retail & Distribution Sales

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Retail & Distribution Sales who will be responsible for managing retail sales operations, building relationships with modern trade chains, and ensuring smooth coordination between stores, distributors, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Sales & Operations

• Mapping and listing company products across modern trade retail chains.
• Coordinating with category managers and store teams to generate Purchase Orders (PO).
• Ensuring adequate stock availability at retail stores to maintain shelf presence and visibility.
• Monitoring sales trends, stock movement, and closing stock at stores to improve sales performance and minimize returns.
• Handling purchase order corrections and updates when required.
• Coordinating with the warehouse team for timely PO processing and dispatch.
• Managing relationships and coordination with distributors and retail partners.
• Scheduling and confirming delivery appointments with retail chains.
• Uploading ASN files for Metro Cash & Carry (CNC) and similar modern trade portals.
• Verifying and confirming GRN (Goods Receipt Note) against deliveries.
• Maintaining ledger hygiene, credit limits, and payment follow-ups.
• Ensuring timely payment collection from distributors and retail partners.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in Retail Sales & Distribution Operations, preferably in FMCG / Imported Food Products.
• Good understanding of modern trade operations and retail listing processes.
• Strong industry connections with retail chains and stores to facilitate quick product listings.
• Ability to coordinate with warehouse, distributors, and category teams effectively.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
