Job Summary:

Saraf Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Marine Engineer to support the repair, maintenance, and technical upkeep of our accommodation workboat SeaQuest Garuda. This role is ideal for a hands-on marine professional with strong knowledge of vessel machinery, marine parts, and repair coordination. As Saraf Corporation expands its marine fleet, this position offers strong long-term growth and leadership opportunities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee routine and breakdown maintenance of marine engines, machinery, and onboard systems
• Diagnose mechanical and technical issues and plan effective repair solutions
• Coordinate ship repairs with vendors, service engineers, and shipyards
• Identify, source, and manage marine spare parts and consumables
• Maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and technical records
• Ensure vessel readiness, safety, and compliance with applicable marine standards
• Support dry docking activities, inspections, and audits
• Work closely with vessel crew to ensure smooth day to day technical operations
• Assist in technical planning and setup for new vessels added to the fleet
• Provide technical inputs for cost control and preventive maintenance planning

Vessel Details:

• Accommodation Workboat: SeaQuest Garuda
• Operations supporting offshore and EPC projects

Required Qualifications:

• Marine Engineer certification (Class IV / III / II preferred)
• Proven experience working on marine vessels, preferably workboats or offshore support vessels
• Strong knowledge of marine engines, auxiliary machinery, and repair procedures
• Good understanding of marine spare parts and vendor coordination
• Ability to handle emergency repairs and operational challenges

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
• Practical and hands-on approach to marine maintenance
• Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and service providers
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Willingness to grow with the organization and take on higher responsibility
