About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Master Tailor from the fashion industry who specializes in high-quality garment construction, fittings, and finishing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in women’s western wear and be capable of handling sampling to final production with precision.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret designer sketches and technical sheets to create accurate garments
• Develop samples and prototypes based on design specifications
• Take accurate body measurements and conduct fittings
• Execute complex stitching techniques and garment construction
• Handle alterations, corrections, and finishing work with precision
• Ensure high-quality standards in stitching, seams, and overall finishing
• Guide and supervise junior tailors and karigars
• Work closely with designers, pattern masters, and production teams
• Maintain timelines and ensure timely completion of samples and orders
• Check fabric quality and suggest construction techniques as per fabric type
• Required Skills & ExpertiseStrong knowledge of garment construction and finishing
• Expertise in women’s western wear (dresses, gowns, tops, co-ord sets, jackets, etc.)
• Excellent fitting and alteration skills
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their behavior
• Ability to work on high-end / designer garments
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
• Leadership skills to manage tailoring team
