Mechanical Draftsman – AutoCAD (ASME Flanges) + QA Documentation

A) Technical Drawings (Primary)

Prepare 2D dimensioned drawings for:

Flanges (WNRF, SORF, BLRF, RTJ)

Pipes & pipe fittings

Work as per ASME B16.5 / B16.9 / B36.10 standards

Prepare drawings for:

Client approval

Manufacturing

Catalogues & datasheets

Revise drawings based on internal or client comments

B) QA & Documentation (Secondary)

Prepare Mill Test Certificates (MTC) as per EN 10204 3.1

Convert lab test reports into proper MTC format

Maintain:

Heat number traceability

Chemical & mechanical test records

Prepare inspection & quality documents for export shipments

Coordinate with QA team / external labs when required

Software Skills (Must Have)

AutoCAD (2D) – mandatory

MS Excel & MS Word

Additional Advantage (Not mandatory)

SolidWorks / Fusion 360 (basic knowledge)

Technical Knowledge Required

ASTM materials: A182, A105, A403, A312 (basic understanding)

Pipe schedules (SCH 10 / 10S / 40 / 80)

Flange ratings (150#, 300#, 600# etc.)

Basic understanding of QA documentation for exports
