Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Project Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical engineering projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure project timelines are met, and manage the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in line with quality and safety standards.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, and execute mechanical engineering projects.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Prepare project specifications, technical drawings, and equipment layouts.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Identify potential risks and implement corrective measures to address project challenges.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and status updates for management.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and site activities.
• Conduct inspections to ensure work quality and system efficiency.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical project management or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, project planning, and quality standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and handle field/site work.
• Preferred:
• Experience in industries like construction, HVAC, manufacturing, oil & gas, or plant engineering.
• Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
