Mechanical Service Engineer

Job Summary

The Mechanical Service Engineer is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery at customer sites or company facilities to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and commission mechanical equipment and machinery.

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance as per schedule.

Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.

Conduct inspections and ensure proper functioning of machines.

Prepare service reports and maintenance documentation.

Coordinate with customers and internal teams for service requirements.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Provide technical support and training to customers when required.

Manage spare parts usage and service tools.

Travel to client sites for field service work.

Requirements

Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.

Proven experience as a Mechanical Service Engineer or similar role preferred.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machines, and maintenance practices.

Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.

Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

Preferred Skills

Experience in industrial machinery, manufacturing, or EPC projects.

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.

Customer handling and communication skills.
