Merchandiser

A Merchandiser is a retail professional responsible for ensuring that the right products are in the right place, at the right time, and at the right price to maximize sales.The role is a unique blend of data analysis (forecasting and budgeting) and visual strategy (displays and layouts)

The job responsibilities are as under:

Supply Chain Liaison: Coordinating with suppliers and warehouses to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Distribution: Deciding which stores (or online regions) should receive specific stock based on local demand.

Inventory Audits: Regularly checking stock levels to prevent overstocking or "out-of-stock" scenarios.

Display Creation: Designing eye-catching window or floor displays to attract customers and promote seasonal items.

Shelf Maintenance: Ensuring products are correctly labeled, clean, and positioned according to brand standards.
