Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate All-Rounder Chef who can manage a multi-cuisine kitchen with a focus on Indian, Tandoori, and Chinese cooking. The ideal candidate should also be well-versed in kitchen operations, hygiene, and stock/inventory management. You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, managing the kitchen staff (if any), maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring consistent taste and timely service.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes from Indian (North & South), Tandoori, and Chinese cuisines.
Handle live counters or tandoor operations as required.
Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation of all dishes.
Manage mise-en-place and prep work for smooth kitchen operation.
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards as per FSSAI norms.
Monitor kitchen stock levels and handle daily/weekly inventory checks.
Coordinate with vendors for fresh and timely supply of raw materials.
Minimize food waste and ensure cost-effective usage of ingredients.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff if applicable.
Manage order pacing during rush hours to avoid delays or mix-ups.
