Job Title: Commis 1 – North Indian Cuisine

Working Hours: 8pm-6am

We’re looking for a skilled Commis 1 Chef specializing in North Indian cuisine to join our Mumbai kitchen team and help us deliver top-quality, tasty, and healthy meals every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook North Indian dishes as per recipe guidelines and portion control.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Follow prep schedules and manage assigned kitchen stations efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper food storage practices as per FSSAI norms.
• Assist in prepping ingredients and mise en place for high-volume production.
• Work closely with the team to ensure timely meal packing and dispatch.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Commis 1 or equivalent role in North Indian cuisine.
• Knowledge of low-oil, less spicy cooking methods preferred (experience in healthy cooking is a plus).
• Should understand portioning, consistency, and quality control.
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety, hygiene, and food handling protocols.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and meet daily production timelines.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
