Packer

Job Summary:The Garment Checker ensures each garment meets quality standards before packing and dispatch. Responsible for checking stitching, measurements, finishing, labeling, and order accuracy.

• Key Responsibilities:Inspect garments for defects (stitch issues, stains, misprints, loose threads).
• Verify measurements as per size chart (chest, length, sleeve, etc.).
• Check correct style, color, size, and quantity against order sheet.
• Ensure labels, tags, barcodes, and branding are correct and properly attached.
• Approve or reject faulty garments; report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain checking records and daily QC reports.
• Coordinate with production and packing team for corrections.
• Ensure final garments are clean, ironed, and ready for packing.
• Skills & Requirements:Knowledge of garment construction and QC standards.
• Ability to spot defects quickly.
• Basic measurement skills using measurement tape.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in garment factory QC/checking preferred.
