Patroller Cum Supervisor – OFC

OPERATIONAL

·        Field Survey of 100% Network elements on assigned route- Hand holes, Underground Duct and OFC scable, Overhead Cable and duct puck out from handholes, joint enclosures and Couplers.

·        Log TT in CRM for any defect observed in network which requires rectification, through NOC

·        Route survey with Cable pulling/Excavation vendors for enabling underground network conversion, network shifting as per plan and others.

·        Coordinate with Local Road contractors in advance, to safeguard our network during Overhead cable removal drive, Excavation for PHE line, Power cable utility and others.

·        Coordinate with Police thane, for information upkeep towards field staff – in house and vendor. Proactive coordination to avoid penalty and recovery.

·        Coordinate with other Operators –Telco/OSP/MSO/Power/PHE and other to safeguard our network during respective excavation.

·        Meet with all Local agencies official once every 10 days, to have proper support route maintenance               ;Municipal official – JE and SE.AE/EE/WO, with Civil supervisor.

·        Obtain market information on new excavation planned by different utility agencies, infrastructure and communicate to Line manager.

·        Adhere to Organizational Processes, Network quality improvement, Company Dos & DONTs along with QA/QC and safety norms.

·        Share cross geography / organization knowledge, Best practices.

·        Report attendance on daily basis with IN & OUT punch time

·        Ensure Safety & Quality Norms are followed rigorously by all team. Strict compliance in mandatory. This has to be part of Monthly checklist submission to HQ.

·        Patrolling of assigned OSP route at least twice a day.

·        Report to supervisor/ project manager about all chamber/ lid locations which are damaged or missing or above the road levels

·        Report to supervisor/ project manager about all aerial cable locations which are cut or missing or hanging or damaged

·        Report to supervisor/ project manager about the ducts which are damaged or exposed

·        Be aware of any other utility work on our OPS route. Check their work permission & planning.

·        Inform with all details to supervisor/ project manager for the WIP other utility work on our OPS route.

·        To ensure safety of our OSP route, supervise WIP other utility work until the time work is completed or supervisor/ project manager arrives on the site, whichever is earlier.

·        Maintaining motor bike Documents-Log Book, Fuel cash book, insurance, PUC, RTO passing etc

·        Coordinate with admin department to ensure servicing of the vehicle in a timely manner

·        Needs to drive safely and should follows all RTO rules

·        Ready to be on call 24*7

·        Ensure timely completion of project

·        Maintain all records as per ISO standards

·        Adhere to all ISO policies & processes

·        Adhere to company & departmental polices & procedures like communication protocols, operational practices / procedures, Information security practices, attendance, procedures, etc

·        Ensure data confidentially, integrity & protection of company’s property

·        Performs any other work assigned by the Management from time to time as per organizational priority

·        Supervision and completing civil work and cable pulling work as required and maintaining route in good condition.

·        Performing DIT (Duct Integrity test), Rodder testing for newly laid ducts and AT (Acceptance test) of newly constructed chambers.

·        Support GIS staff for route survey with Rodometer.

·        Gathering and updating data of relevant staff of BMC wards on our routes as per management requirement.

·        Gathering and updating data of relevant staff of Police stations on our routes as per management requirement.

·        Liasoning with BMC staff and Police staff for safety of our routes.

·        Undertaking any activity required for up keeping and maintenance of route.
