Phlebotomist

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Phlebotomist with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in blood collection and sample handling. The candidate should be skilled in venipuncture, patient handling, and laboratory protocols, ensuring accurate and safe sample collection.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients of all age groups
• Collect blood and other specimens as per test requirements
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of samples
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times
• Maintain patient comfort and explain procedures clearly
• Verify patient identity before sample collection
• Maintain records of samples collected and tests requested
• Coordinate with lab staff for timely processing of samples
• Handle home visit sample collection when required
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of collection area and equipment

• QualificationsDMLT / MLT / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
• Certification in Phlebotomy preferred
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience as a Phlebotomist
