PHP Web Developer

About the Role

We are building a restaurant kitchen management system that handles everything from recipes and inventory to staff attendance and payroll. We're looking for a Laravel developer to join us full-time and take ownership of the backend development of this product.

What You'll Work On

• Adding new features and fixing issues in our existing Laravel application
• Building and maintaining REST APIs consumed by a web frontend
• Managing the database (MySQL) — migrations, optimizations, data integrity
• Integrating third-party services (WhatsApp notifications, Excel exports, payment gateways)
• Ensuring data is secure and isolated per restaurant branch (multi-tenancy)
• Deploying updates to our Linux server

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Laravel development
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8.x, MySQL, and Eloquent ORM
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Comfortable working on Linux servers and using Git
• Understands role-based access control and data security basics
• Can read existing code, understand it, and extend it — not just build from scratch

Good to Have

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications
• Worked with WhatsApp Business API or similar messaging integrations
• Familiarity with Laravel queues and background jobs
• Experience in the food & beverage or hospitality industry
