Picker / Packer

• Order Picking: Accurately locating and selecting items from warehouse shelves or bins based on packing slips or RF scanners.
• Order Packing: Sorting, wrapping, packing, and sealing items into shipping containers, ensuring proper protection of goods.
• Quality Control: Inspecting products for damages or defects before they are shipped.
• Labeling and Documentation: Updating, scanning, and labeling orders with appropriate shipping information.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate stock records, organizing inventory, and reporting any missing or broken items.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean, organized, and adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. 

Key Requirements and Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy loads for extended periods (often 8-10 hour shifts).
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reading order details and ensuring items match the documentation to minimize errors.
• Technical Literacy: Familiarity with handheld scanners, barcode scanners, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict daily production targets.
• Teamwork: Strong communication skills and willingness to coordinate with other staff, including supervisors and logisticians.
