Job Description
- Order picking: Locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or handheld scanners.
- Quality control: Inspecting products for defects and verifying the correct quantity and item are selected for each order.
- Packing: Securely and efficiently packaging picked items into boxes or cartons for shipment, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Inventory management: Restocking shelves, counting and recording stock levels, and assisting with inventory checks.
- Shipping preparation: Labeling packages and preparing them for transport.
- Equipment operation: Operating equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery as needed.
- Safety and cleanliness: Following safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and reporting any safety issues.
