Picker / Packer

 Key Responsibilities

1. Barcoding:

• Receive incoming stock and verify items against purchase orders.
• Apply barcodes/labels on products accurately.
• Ensure all products are scanned and updated in the system.
• Maintain barcode quality and report any scanning issues.

2. Picking:

• Use picking lists or handheld devices to pick items from racks/bins.
• Verify product details such as SKU, batch number, expiry date, and quantity.
• Ensure accuracy and speed while picking orders.
• Place picked items in designated areas for packing.

3. Packing:

• Check picked items for damage, quantity mismatch, or wrong products.
• Pack items using appropriate packaging material to avoid transit damage.
• Seal, label, and prepare parcels for dispatch.
• Maintain packing quality standards.
