Picker / Packer

A Picker & Packer is responsible for accurately picking products from store shelves based on customer orders, packing them securely, and ensuring timely handover for quick dispatch. The role is critical in maintaining fast delivery timelines and order accuracy in a dark store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pick items as per order list using handheld devices or order slips

2. Check product quality, expiry dates, and packaging condition

3. Pack orders safely and neatly as per company standards

4. Label and stage orders for delivery partners

5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and packing areas

6. Report missing, damaged, or incorrect items to the supervisor

7. Follow safety, hygiene, and inventory handling guidelines

Skills & Requirements:

1. Basic reading and counting skills

2. Ability to work quickly and accurately under time pressure

3. Physically fit to stand, walk, and lift light to moderate loads

4. Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends/holidays

5. Team-oriented with attention to detail
